The Dung Beetle is the World's strongest creature!

Dung Beetles are able to lift 1,141 times its own body weight, which is equivalent to to an average of a human pulling six full double-decker buses. According to scientists the staggering strength of the Dung Beetles is down to the bugs' sex habits.



Female dung beetles are digging tunnels during the mating season ay their eggs and mate. If a male entering a tunnel that is already occupied by a rival, they will fight with their horns, trying to pull one another out. Therefore
A team from the University of London tested dung beetle males' ability to overpower love rivals by mocking up fighting scenarios. They measured the force needed to drag male beetles from their holes and came to result that the beetles are able to lift 1,141 times its own body weight.
