South Africa: 1time now operating flights ex Lanseria International Airport (Johannesburg)

update (29 May 2012): South African budget airline 1time has announced that it will be withdrawing all of its flights to and from Lanseria International Airport with effect from 2 June 2012. According to IOL news, the airline wants to consolidate all their local and regional flights from OR Tambo International Airport and concentrate on their African projects that are currently underway. Pending seasonal demand, and commercial viability of the airport, 1time may look at reviewing their Lanseria services in the future.

South African budget airline 1time is now operating flights fom Lanseria International Airport in Gauteng. 1time's maiden flight from the airport took off on 05 March 2012. The airline will operate daily flights between Lanseria <> Cape Town & Lanseria <> Durban. – with arrivals and departures each morning and afternoon/evening.

Privately owned Lanseria International Airport is situated north of Randburg and Sandton to the north west of Johannesburg.
